The AASC Climate Service Catalog is an ongoing effort to document the online climate-
related services provided by AASC members. The services provided by the state climate
offices are the primary focus, but online climate tools offered by other membership and
partners (including the regional climate centers, NCDC, and other NOAA agencies) that
are of interest to the public are also listed.
The items
are shown in the table below, categorized by the region that the item is relevant for. The
regions are based on the 9 climate regions defined by Karl and Koss (1984). The tools
that are applicable nationwide are indicated as so. There are a total of 91 products in this catalog. Finally, an item in our catalog will be
featured on a monthly basis, providing a more in-depth look at the product.

The utility then plots a map of the trends over the Pacific Northwest, with the magnitude of linear trends indicated by circles. Mousing over a circle produces a small window with station name, elevation, year data began, and linear trend over the period chosen by the user. Clicking on a dot brings up a plot of the time series at that station, along with the statewide average time series for comparison. The utility is built on Google Maps so users can pan and zoom. The tool currently uses United States Historical Climate Network (USHCN) version 1 data, and only goes through 2006. An update to the USHCN version 2 data is forthcoming.
